Rainbow Beach kicks off its series of handi-craft workshops Friday! This, being the pilot workshop, is going to be a learning experience for us all. I want as many of you to attend as is humanly possible! Oscar Owens, one of Rainbow Beach's facilitators, will be teaching us all how to make beaded bracelets. It turns out that there are exactly six colors in the Q-pride flag, and you can make these bracelets in six layers--coincidence? I think not.

These bracelets, along with the other things we make from our series of handi-craft workshops, will all be used both for our own personal pleasure as well as fundraising for Rainbow Beach! The point of these workshops is to teach us all a tidbit of handi-craft skill that isn't too tedious or difficult but can bring a smile into almost any situation--and it can help raise money to make so many wonderful things possible for Rainbow Beach! If this session goes well, we will take it as a Green-Light for further handi-craft workshops throughout the year.

I cannot stress enough how important it is for you all to attend this event--PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE EFFORTS OF YOUR LEADERSHIP IN PROVIDING YOU WITH FUNCTIONAL PROGRAMMING!
